Description
Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii) sunbaths and rests on a perch for a while. I believe this bird is one of two cooper's hawks which have built a nest nearby. Unfortunately their choice in nest location is next to a busy path, with the weather warming up and human activity likely to rise, I hope they aren't disturbed too much.
